Branding
& Logo Design
941 is a dynamic production company specializing in short films and documentaries, with work showcased at prestigious festivals like the Cannes Film Festival. I was brought on to revamp their logo and branding, delivering a fresh, modern update that reflects their evolving creative vision.

Inspiration
Lindsey Barnes is the visionary behind 941 Productions, serving as both its creator and executive producer. When discussing the direction for the company’s logo, she highlighted a few key elements. The number 941 represents the Pantone color of the Cheshire Cat from the 1951 film Alice in Wonderland, her childhood favorite. She cherished the subtle nod to the cat’s distinctive tail in the existing design but left the rest open to creative exploration.

Logo Creation
To bring the logo to life, I immersed myself in the film, letting its visuals and themes spark fresh ideas. As I watched, I sketched out multiple concepts, refining them through several iterations. After careful exploration, we settled on a design centered around the film roll—capturing both the essence of storytelling and the cinematic artistry that defines 941 Productions.

Final
The final logo combinations and design is shown below.
